Stagstep
One of the warriors hadn't failed to notice Echostar's return. No one really seemed keen to join their leader often, and sometimes Stagstep was busy with his own duties to ever consider relaxing or sharing tongues, because his role as deputy always came first. Her lack of getting any prey though wasn't surprising, but with how the season was beginning to change and become rough, everyone could use the strength. Prey was still running enough sharing it couldn't hurt it too much.
He had a half-eaten bluejay at his paws, not finding himself all that hungry when it came to leaf-bare he picked up what remained of the small bird and came over towards Echostar. He didn't give much of a greeting when he dropped the bird at her paws, "Echostar, you must eat something, even if its small. Until leaf-bare gets worse, we have enough for everyone to at least share a meal. Besides, bluejays are a little stringy for me." Stagstep insisted, pushing it closer with his paw and looking at her with his usual intense gaze. But then again, Stagstep was usually an intense tom to be around, even by his physical build.
But, he sat himself at her side, watching the clan as they seemed to be settling down, sharing tongues and finishing their meals or patrols for the day. "You seem bothered this evening." Stagstep continued after a few minutes of silence, his tail tucked around his paws but not taking his gaze over their clanmates.
