Extra Traits: Somewhat of a messy cat but a rather fatherly figure at times, especially to the younger cats. Herondusk is quite the hunter and has shown himself to be a strong swimmer and jumper, and also shares his brother's charismatic nature. Herondusk shares many traits with his half-brother, Sunstar. Like him, he is very determined, stubborn, and protective, especially when it comes to family and his clan. He can be vicious and fierce when it comes to protecting Pondclan and will not hesitate to throw his life down to help a clanmate. But, he holds a much more compassionate, caring side than Sunstar who seems to let his darkness shine yet this tom does not. He is serious and loyal, and is always willing to show a great care to all his clanmates, finding value that all of them help the clan rather than just the strong. He's a loyal tom who shows a fairly encouraging attitude and shares his brother's charisma, seeming to sometimes draw cats to him but he is a lot serious and guarded from time to time, especially when it comes to inquiries about his heritage. | |||||||||

Herondusk is the second son of Iceears and the son of an unknown Riverclan warrior. Herondusk was born on the last leg of the journey, resulting from Iceears leaving her former mate, Redfur, after his cruelty proved to be too much to continue to bare and shortly after her first son was made Swiftstar's apprentice. She found a new mate from Riverclan and soon Herondusk was born as his parents joined Pondclan rather than Iceears returning to the clan that was most like her original one. Hoping to start fresh, this is where she would come to live and raise the young Herondusk alongside her new mate. The young tom grew up rather happy and without the abuse his half-brother felt. He was always interacting and playing with the other kits and would often try to pester the apprentices into challenges or proving he was better. Sometimes he would try to show just how strong he truly was, showing a fair bit of strength in his hind legs that impressed some apprentices and warriors who watched. Like many kits he also liked to play that he was clan leader and sometimes acted like a fox or badger when play fighting. But, six moons came quickly and Herondusk was soon made an apprentice himself. HIs apprenticeship was a little less eventful than most, but did prove some difficulty. It was discovered that he does have blind spots towards the outer sides of his eyes, being unable to see from the temple sides of his eyes to the middle but he can see just fine from the middle to the nose area. This proved somewhat challenging for the likes of Herondusk as he had to improve his smell and hearing to compensate for a weakness. But, this also drove him to work harder to prove he was just as good as any Pondclan cat. Despite this setback, Herondusk proved to have quite a bit of support and some friendly competition helped him improve. He even proved himself to be an exceptional hunter, willing to tempt the most dangerous areas of the territory to get the water birds in the area and has proven to have some luck. His skills and dedication eventually got him to being a warrior, although he was a moon or so late due to having to learn to adapt some things to fit his slight handicap. He has since continued his warrior duties as normal and hides the fact that he is related to the Swiftclan's current leader. | |||||||||
