Making Batpaw the great grandson of Tigerstar and Goldenflower, and the great-great-grandson of Pinestar and Leopardfoot. This also makes Batpaw nephew to Mothflight, Brambleclaw, Hawkfrost, and Tadpole. | |||||||||

Batpaw and his sister, Palepaw, were born on the journey to Great Bear Lake, like most of the apprentices in the clans, to a Riverclan queen named Pondlily, and a Shadowclan warrior named Snakestrike. The siblings were quite spoiled during their kithood, so when Snakestrike, their father, died... It hit them hard, Batkit especially. Snakestrike and Batkit were extremely close to one another, with Snakestrike prideful that Batkit inherited his "beautiful dark fur" and Pondlily's green eyes. Snakestrike doted on his son, not paying as much attention to Palekit because she was light-furred like her mother was. However, he loved both of them. Batkit got used to the praise, and became narcissistic and vain towards everyone, believing he was the best at everything. When Snakestrike died, Batpaw's vanity diminished, but his narcissism only got worse, becoming a defense mechanism against getting close to any other cats, especially his own family. He shoved his mother from his life, and only kept Palepaw close, taking her with him when they had to choose their clans. The siblings seperated from their mother at the "choosing ceremony," as they called it. They went with a group of friends to Skyclan, and Pondlily went to Pondclan, since she adored the water so much. They, unfortunately, never saw Pondlily again, and she died alone in Pondclan shortly after, due to a bad sickness. These days, Batpaw resides in Skyclan with Palepaw, his only remaining living family. He was told that Pondlily had passed, but never divulged this information to Palepaw. | |||||||||

She has a princess complex, she's quick to anger, irritable, snaps when she doesn't get what she wants, and has major anger issues. However, she's also one of the sweetest cats you will ever meet, so long as you stay off her bad side. She's kind-natured, has a heart of gold; even if she often doesn't show it, and is loyal to a fault to those she trusts. She's logical, thinks quick on her feet, and, even though she's quite compulsive, has a good gut, and trusts it. | |||||||||

Pondlily loved the little shecat, who was supposedly a great resemblence to Tawnypelt, her Grandmother, and mother to Snakestrike. Pondlily made up for the lack of attention Snakestrike was giving, and therefor Palekit never became bitter towards her father, and she loved him very much. When Snakestrike died, Batpaw's vanity diminished, but his narcissism only got worse, becoming a defense mechanism against getting close to any other cats, especially his own family. He shoved his mother from his life, and only kept Palepaw close, taking her with him when they had to choose their clans. This saddened Palepaw, but she refused to leave her brother's side, instead trying to persuade their mother to follow them to Skyclan, the clan most like their father's. Pondlil refused, stating that the water is, and always would be, where she belonged. Saddened, Palepaw joined Skyclan with her brother and friends. The siblings seperated from their mother at the "choosing ceremony," as they called it. They went with a group of friends to Skyclan, and Pondlily went to Pondclan, since she adored the water so much. They, unfortunately, never saw Pondlily again, and she died alone in Pondclan shortly after, due to a bad sickness. These days, Palepaw enjoys training with her mentor in Skyclan territory.
