butterflychasers.weebly.com/uploads/2/6/8/9/26896321/8818220_orig.jpeg (Felt like we needed an ECG thread so here we go XD This is for all those 1* and 2* members we have rofl. Might insert Firefly later on, but idk. He is kind of needed but that's a lot of work .) แแแแฎแแ
The reddish brown-black shecat stood up from her nest of assorted abandoned two-leg objects with a large frown upon her facial features. What the small 3* member had just told her alarmed her.
"The... humans are forming an uprising? To retake my, ... our, skyscraper? ...Hmm..."
The shecat repeated what she had just heard, as if her own voice solidified one of the gang's largest fears. They outnumbered the group of humans that wanted their home, sure, but the humans were so much bigger, and one of them usually could take on four or five cats at a time, and the gang certainly didn't have the numbers for that much of an uprising.
"Run along and alert all the 2* and 1* members nearby to meet me here at the top of the scraper. I need to form a plan. If we can't defeat them with numbers, we'll take them on with the environment as well as numbers."
The seemingly fearless gang-leader then dismissed the youngster with a wave of her shortened tail; and with a hurried "Yes, ma'am", the young cat scampered from the top of the tower as fast as his stumpy legs would carry him.
Reaper frowned after the kit, her feelings slightly hurt underneath her cold exterior. She hated that her gang-mates found her so scary, and wished that they knew she cared deeply for all of them, even those with broken and irreparable pasts, as she, too, understood what it was like to be tortured and hurt beyond belief. However, she wanted them to also understand that she had to rule with an iron paw to keep the peace between them all, otherwise there would be all sorts of fights breaking out all the time, and the gang would destroy itself from the inside out.
The shecat's stumpy tail gave an irritated lash, and her mood became uncomfortable, hating that she was feared but understanding why she needed to be. With that last thought, and a sigh, she headed over to the "round table" she had meetings with when she called together the higher gang-mates before telling the entire gang, and settled down at the head, waiting for everyone's arrival.

Dune Dune couldn't remember the last time there had been a required meeting where only the one star and two star members were needed. It had been a while from his memory but there had been a time or two he might have missed them due to handling things elsewhere which he usually heard about it or not. But he spent much of his time outside the skyscraper as much as he did inside so he could keep his ears open and listening for other signs of things going on in the city. Some were rumors and others were true facts, it was a matter of deciphering which was which that was normally the concern. But since the young kit had come to him like other higher up members he was making his way from another part of the skyscraper to join Reaper and the others for the meeting that seemed urgent. He always hated to see their members looking in a panic and worried, making his fur prickle with concern and worry of what would be brought up. He had heard some dangers may be on the horizon such as a twolegs coming and going but never doing much and sometimes other groups talking of causing a fuss. Though, Dune had high doubts it would be either, well he could hope his doubts were correct. It was usually young two leg kits that came to mess around in the place using shiny objects at times or just to break something before one of them scared them off. Arriving to Reaper's area, the one moon older rom stepped in to find the dark colored she-cat already at the "round table" waiting for her higher up members to join her. " Reaper." Dune greeted with a respectful dip of his head as he came to find a spot at the table. He thought he could see frustration from her body language and couldn't help observing her for a moment in wonder. Had the gang members done something to anger her? Or was the reason for this meeting something entirely different and the main cause? It was hard to tell sometimes and despite the small bit of fear he did have due to Reaper's ferocity he held greater respect and admiration than fear for the she-cat who was young than him but it felt like it should have been vice versa. " What seems to be upsetting you so much Reaper? I haven't seen you this frustrated in a few moons." The sand cat inquired wondering if she could answer now or maybe wait later. ๐๐ก๐ลด
The darkened tom was lounging on an abandoned porch, Echo close at his side. The siblings had been close for as long as they could remember. They shared the same mindset, blood thirst, as well as determination to make it to the top. They had arrived in the Emerald City Gang moons ago and already Crow held a position of power in their ranks, something the both of them were pleased with. "Does Reaper suspect anything?" Crow rolled his eyes dramatically at his sisters inquiry. They had been over the subject countless times and it was beginning to grow tiresome. "No, she doesn't suspect a thing. What there is to suspect is still beyond me though." He offered in dull response as she dragged her rough tongue over his ear. Something about the act seemed malicious, not affectionate. "Oh nothing yet, dear brother. You need only worry about playing your part, I'll worry about the rest. Trust me on this." Crow let out an irritated sigh but didn't question her further. Mere seconds later a young 3* cat raced up to them, an air of anxious fear drifting from him. "Reaper has called a meeting." He gasped out breathlessly before darting off in search of the others. Curiosity instantly sparked in the tom. Reaper wasn't the type to call meetings unless it was urgent. He rose quickly to his paws and shook out his thick pelt. His pale green optics landed inquisitively on his litter mate. She gave a casual shake of her head in answer to his unspoken question. "You go ahead, I'll be there soon." With another eye roll the tom set out alone, only briefly pondering what his sister could be doing. He soon reached the skyscraper where the meeting was sure to be held. Crow took a breath before climbing up to Reaper's "lair". Upon reaching it he realized he wasn't the first to arrive. Another, older tom by the name of Dune stood beside their leader, inquiring as to what was wrong. Crow emerged approached the "round table" as quietly as a shadow and with much the same appearance. "What seems to be upsetting you so much Reaper? I haven't seen you this frustrated in a few moons." The deputy's whiskers twitched as he briefly dipped his head to the dark she-cat. "I, too, would like to know the answer to that question."Addressed: Echo, Reaper ( ใโโ๐๐๐ง๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐ฃ๐โโใโข ), Dune (@tundra ) Mentioned: Echo, Reaper, Dun Notes: I really like playing him.. ๐ฐ๐๐๐
The red she-cat rose slowly from her place on the porch as her brother departed. She watched him fade into the shadows of an alley, green optics not leaving the place he had disappeared to for several long moments. Crow was the only family she had left and she loved him deeply but..... He was just as much one of her puppets as the others in this pitiful "gang" soon would be. Echo had big plans for the future. She wasn't meant to be a follower. She was meant to be a leader. That coward that never emerged from her skyscraper was a sorry excuse indeed for a leader in Echo's opinion. Reaper could only hold her "gang's" fear when she remained unknown to them. All cats feared what they could not see. And Reaper could defiantly be classified as one they could not see. Tales of her ferocity ran wild in the minds of her followers until they were warped into something completely different. With a sigh, Echo leapt from the porch and set off towards the skyscraper. It had been awhile since she had been able to observe Reaper. The information, any information, would come in useful in the future. A dark smile flitted across her features briefly as she arrived at the base of the skyscraper. It didn't take her long to reach the top. Crow was already there, standing on the opposite side of the "round table" of Reaper and another tom named Dune. Echo approached silently, briefly making eye contact with her brother before returning her gaze to Reaper. "Good morning. If I may, what is this all about?" She inquired respectfully, not a hint of her traitorous thoughts showing through. Addressed: Reaper ( ใโโ๐๐๐ง๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐ฃ๐โโใโข ) Mentioned: Crow, Dune (@tundra ) Notes: She's defiantly an interesting Character to play.. XD

"Reaper."
The dark pelted shecat whipped her head to the entrance of her floor, and out of her own thoughts, her agitation making her pelt fluff up and her long, bloodstained claws slide from their sheaths and sink into the human-made cloth below her rear.
"Dune."
She responded, dipping her head slightly as a return gesture, and fixing her expression and body language quickly, wrapping her shortened tail around herself as much as she could. She sighed softly as the older 1* member studied her, and, as he always did when they were together, picked up on the fact that she was frustrated by something almost immediately, despite her efforts to hide the fact.
"What seems to be upsetting you so much Reaper? I haven't seen you this frustrated in a few moons."
Reaper didn't want the big sand cat to know her insecurities, so she settled on something that was equally as irksome these days. But right when she had took a breath to answer, her reply died in her throat as another tom joined the mix, settling himself at the "round table" with herself and Dune. It was the deputy of the Gang, Crow, of whom she still had suspicions that he didn't know about, not necessarily of him, but of Echo, his 2* sister. Now, Crow was alone, for once in a very long time, and so Reaper felt a little less... hesitant to voice her irritation to the two in front of her.
Crow opened his mouth and spoke before she could herself, making her clamp her jaw shut once more until he had finished.
"I, too, would like to know the answer to that question."
She sighed, suspecting that the cat who spent most of his time with her when they talked business would have no trouble picking up on the irritation Reaper felt. She finally cleared her throat, making her intention to speak very clear and warning the two that severe consequences would follow any spoken words that came before she had the chance to speak. The rumors about Reaper might be fleshed out and changed, but the underlying story of her ruthlessness was true, and she wasn't afraid to back it up at any time, gang member or not.
"I've heard rumors of a rebel among the Gang. Someone who feels that my required stay up here in the skyscraper leads to make those who follow me fear me for no reason. I'm just irritated because I didn't know I would be turning these claws on my gang members so soon. I thought I had made it clear enough that I care for all of you, but that I would not tolerate any uprisings, and I thought you all knew that all rebellion will be quailed, with words or force. I've been known to use either one."
The leader spat, disgusted at the revelation that she might have to kill of injure more of her gang-mates to solidify her power again. She hadn't been out of her tower in a while because of her having to settle foreign relations with the new clans that had moved into the forest and abandoned city nearby, and most of that was dealing with that mangy old tom, Witheredstar, who looked like he was ready to try and rip her throat out if she denied them having their new territory without interference from the ECG. It just made her mad that her gang-members needed to see her daily to make sure she was still in control, and she would rather not use force to regain control unless it's absolutely necessary.
Another cat had joined them at this point, a shecat named Echo, who also happened to be Crow's sister, and the suspected source of the problem within the gang. Reaper narrowed her pale eyes at the shecat as she approached the table with dainty, disguised steps, and she heard the falsehood in her voice when the calm, innocent sound rippled outward.
"Good morning. If I may, what is this all about?"
The false respect in that statement was like a slap in the face to Reaper, and it almost made her rip across the table and tear the shecat's throat out, quailing the problem immediately. However, she stayed put, not acting until she had solid evidence.
She had never liked Echo. Crow was alright, respectful enough, and seemingly loyal despite his lack of sympathy for those he fought, but Echo was the mastermind behind everything the two did that was wrong. Reaper suspected Crow blindly followed Echo because the cunning shecat had tricked the tom into doing her dirty work. It disgusted Reaper, since she had her own brother, Firefly, to know that someone would be like that.
She would, however, give Echo that she was smart. Not smart enough to figure out Reaper herself entirely, but smarter than most of the shecats the leader had met. Reaper felt like she was dancing on glass around Echo, but, luckily, she danced on glass throughout kithood around her own father, and had perfected the dance so flawlessly to survive that no one, not even those who knew about this talent, picked up on it when she truly hid something like suspicion. Her own father had not known it, the entire time Reaper had planned his fall from reign, not until she was watching the light fade from his eyes as his blood pooled under her claws.
Reaper's cold exterior had not flinched throughout this raging bout in her head, not even when she had had the brief lapse where she was about to rip Echo to shreds had she moved even a muscle. She sat there, as tall as her short stature could make her and with her malicious, venomous air around her carefully controlled, so no others would pick up on it. She narrowed her eyes briefly before blinking, and answering Echo in a chillingly calm voice.
"We were about to start the meeting. Firefly is a bit late, but once he decides to join us, we will discuss what a member has disclosed to me recently."
The leader met Echo's gaze steadily, silently daring the shecat to say something. Her red ear flicked, picking up on any noise in the room. Reaper would be able to hear anything said in this room, from a whisper to a yell, with how her father had it set up. All echos came straight to the leader's position at the table, which was where she was currently seated.
Finally, after what seemed like moons of silence, an orange tabby ball of fluff barreled into the meeting room and crashed against a wall, making Reaper wince slightly but otherwise not change her expression.สษจสษสสส & สเนษ เธฃฮฑฯ
"We were about to start the meeting. Firefly is a bit late, but once he decides to join us, we will discuss what a member has disclosed to me recently."
The orange tabby heard his sister speaking just as he fell through the doorway. On his way past he spotted the icy glare his leader, and sister, was giving the shecat, and frowned, wondering what was going on between the two to illicit such a response from his caring sister.
"I'm here"
He sputtered with a cough, standing up from the wall he had hit and moving to sit on Reaper's other side, opposite from Dune. The 1* tom flisked his tail to brush any debris off his pelt, before calling over to the doorway.
"You can come in now, Jiggy! They all know we're here!"
This caused Reaper to roll her eyes and shake her head at her brother, a tiny smile working it's way over her stony features, and making Firefly grin as he watched her soften up a bit. The 2* shecat that was always with Firefly, Jigsaw, slunk in after her overbearing mentor-like figure, and settled herself between him and Reaper, squishing in the tiny space between them rather than taking the open seat next to Echo. This action made Firefly roll his eyes and scoot over, much to Jigsaw's pleasure, and he cuffed her over the ear as he moved to make room.
"What are we going to do with you Jiggy."
"I don't know, keep me somewhere I don't have to see your ugly face every day?"
The two fired off at one another, initiating another eye roll from Reaper, who took a deep breath and smacked them both.
"Hush, both of you. We're in a meeting and you both need to behave. Now."
Both cats quieted down immediately, clamping their jaws shut and curling their tails, dipping their heads politely to the rest of the table before looking to Reaper to start the meeting.
For: Crow, Echo (@shadow ), and Dune (@tundra ) and whoever else wants to join. Mentioned: Nocat else Notes: "Reaper Speaking" "Firefly Speaking" "Jigsaw Speaking" "Others Speaking"
OML I love these guys XD Plus, I figured if I continued it'd be wayyy too long so I'm going to let everyone reply before a lot more is written I also put Jigsaw and Firefly together because, since they haven't been in play yet, they don't really have uch to do alone, and it makes it more filled together.

๐๐ก๐ลด "I've heard rumors of a rebel among the Gang. Someone who feels that my required stay up here in the skyscraper leads to make those who follow me fear me for no reason. I thought I had made it clear enough that I care for all of you, but that I would not tolerate any uprisings, and I thought you all knew that all rebellion will be quailed, with words or force. I've been known to use either one."
Crow felt a spark of anger. Who would dare say such about their own leader? His face only briefly showed the emotion before a neutral mask took over once more. His claws momentarily slid from their sheaths to gouge angrily at the floor beneath him. Reaper's words, while evoking anger, also sparked sadistic joy. He would be more than willing to help her, if she let him. It had been far too long since he'd sunk his claws into another feline that dared cross his path. In a flash he was no longer standing in Reaper's room but in a dark alleyway. His sister's mate coward at Echo's feet, gazing pleadingly at Crow right before she had ripped him apart. The memory faded quickly as his sister silently took her place beside him smoothly. "Good morning. If I may, what is this all about?"
"We were about to start the meeting. Firefly is a bit late, but once he decides to join us, we will discuss what a member has disclosed to me recently."
The very air seemed to have chilled. Crow cast a confused look between Echo and Reaper. Reaper was much more business like now that the red she-cat had joined them. The dark male tensed slightly as he watched Echo's tail twitch ever so slightly towards Reaper. The action only confused the tom farther. It would be impossible for another cat to tell when Echo was upset by something, but for Crow it came as second nature. When the she-cat was upset, no one was happy. He shifted his weigh slightly so that their fur brushed, his tail laid across hers in an effort to soothe her. Now that he thought about it, Reaper's response had been very cold and distant, almost as if she didn't like Echo. The though disturbed the deputy as he lifted his pale green optics to hers. He respect the fierce she-cat but... She couldn't upset his litter mate like that. After all, Echo had been perfectly respectful when addressing the leader. It wasn't like the red she-cat poised a threat to Reaper. Addressed: N/A Mentioned: Echo, Reaper ( ใโโ๐๐๐ง๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐ฃ๐โโใโข) Notes: The poor guy is so clueless ๐ฐ๐๐๐ "We were about to start the meeting. Firefly is a bit late, but once he decides to join us, we will discuss what a member has disclosed to me recently."Reaper's tone carried ice, a fact that didn't bother Echo overly much. She had expected the she-cat to pick up on at least a hint of her traitorous intentions, even if she kept the majority of her plans on lockdown even from her brother. The leader of the gang was smart and the red she-cat didn't expect this to be easy. She would rule the city from the skyscraper no matter the cost. Reaper had been what some would call a good leader for many moons and Echo thought it time she considered retirement before things got ugly. She had often heard of the she-cat's fierce-some reputation. At on point, fear and awe had often gripped her at the very mention of Reaper's name. But no longer, she still heavily respect the feline but all things must come to a close. Reaper had a wide-spread reputation that was making her grow arrogant. She was underestimating Echo's own abilities. She may not be widely known as a killer but of she was one and she took great pride in it. Feigning hurt, she soon felt her brother press against her. The cunning she-cat suppressed a smile. Crow was easily manipulated, Echo had his entire loyalty, whatever Reaper might think. It had always been a talent of hers, to charm the cats she needed for her plans. And Crow was no exception. Echo looked up to meet Reaper's eyes. If it came to a fifth, which wasn't likely at this stage of the game, she knew she could count on Crow to have her back, no matter what Reaper thought of her deputy. Blood was a strong bond, something the leader should know well. But, for now, her brother had no knowledge of his sly sister's plans for their future. "I'm here, You can come in now, Jiggy! They all know we're here!"As if on cue, the last members of the small meeting entered the room. Firefly, Reaper's brother, had always gotten on Echo's nerves. He was too perky for her, always smiling and joking around. But his companion.... Echo's bright, sly eyes tracked the younger she-cat as she approached the table. Jigsaw often subtly held the plotting she-cat's attention when entering a room. Younger cat's were easier to manipulate and Jigsaw could be the perfect puppet. She was close to Reaper's brother which could come in very handy later on. But only if she managed to snag her loyalty. It would be no easy feat but Echo was confident in her abilities. She offered a warm smile in the pair's direction with a soft chuckle at their kit-like antiques. With the smile still plastered across her features, Echo returned her gaze to their "leader". "Hopefully we can know find out what this is all about." Ever syllable was controlled and pleasant. Dune Dune perked his ears forward as Reaper was about to answer but she was interrupted when someone sle arrived. It was their deputy Crow, someone he thought would have been here earlier. But this time it seemed Dune was though he gave the younger cat a quick nod to acknowledge his appearance before turning towards Reaper once more. But her sharp words that were spat in response to them at last made him frown a little in knowing she likely didn't appreciate being cut off more than once so he kept silent as he listened to what was concerning her. It actually shocked him to hear there was a possible uprising going on within their own ranks and causing Dune to look past his leader in thought to who could be causing such issues. Sure there would be some who didn't agree with Reaper but for the most part none had made a move to truly harm her. Much less seem to be suffering under her iron paw ruling. " We know you care Reaper, we'll..." Dune began before someone else arrived and caused him to close his mouth when seeing it was Crow's sister Echo. The she-cat was cunning, falsely sweet and seemed to act innocent. Though the one starred cat tolerated her attempts at kindness there was always something about the she-cat that made his fur itch with unease as it was now. It wasn't made much better by the exchange she had with Reaper. The air felt like a chill could go through it colder than any leaf-bare wind, a biting chill that made the fur along his spine begin to bristle with his unease. But he quickly forced it to lie flat and keep his usual steady appearance. The chill was interrupted by the arrival of Firefly and Jigsaw, two of their current youngest members that actually made him show a hint of a smile and amusement in his eyes. It reminded him a lot of himself and his litter mates, ones he would never see again. It made his heart ache with sorrow as his claws unsheathed and dug into the cloth beneath him as his eyes showed the sorrow he felt but he quickly forced it down as quickly as it arose. He had to stay focused. Now was not the time to dwell on his feelings of loss and loneliness of his family. Instead he occupied with looking at the gathered cats, but he noticed Echo's gaze seeming to be concentrated on the young cats making him narrow his eyes briefly before going back to normal. " We will get to the news as quickly as we can Echo, I'm sure you can find patience. I'm sure the prey can wait on your deadly claws soon." Dune said in a soothing, teasing manner to hopefully lower some of the tension further as the arrival of the younger gang members seemed to have done that already. But there was a hint of something else in his tone, but it would seem difficult to pick up what it was exactly. Although he could have sworn he saw Crow looking deeply confused by the situation between Reaper and Echo. Though he too was curious he couldn't help feeling Reaper had her reasons, she always did. Sprit rushed into the room. "Sorry that i'm late!" she panted and sat down. "What's going on?" she tilted her head in curiosity as she glanced around the room. Feeling a bit guilty she decided to stay a bit more quiet than usaul OoC: How do you do this? Sorry if it's short and is it okay?

butterflychasers.weebly.com/uploads/2/6/8/9/26896321/8818220_orig.jpeg OOC: Of course it's okay! as long as your post is more than 20 words, everything is fine. And you roleplay like you usually do, just responding to what's going on. Everyone has a style, don't be shy to use yours. ^.^ You can use color coordination for your character and others like I tend to do, so one cat in one color, another in another, or just styles, like one cat in italics and another in bold. Be creative with it, and have fun
แแแแฎแแ
"Hopefully we can know find out what this is all about."
Reaper didn't like Echo's attitude one bit. She seemed calm and sweet, but, with a flick of hear ears, Reaper could tell her whole facade was forced. Her "calm" tone was anything but natural. It was forcefully put on, lacking the spontaneous ups and downs natural flowing, conversational calm would have. The shecat seated across from the reddish leader thought she was slick, but her falsities and manipulations wouldn't slide past Reaper, who was also a master at manipulating those outside her gang to get what was best for everyone.
The parlor tricks Echo was sporting to get at her brother and Jigsaw, whom she thought of as a little sister, made Reaper unleash her claws with deadly fluidity under the table. She would not have that in her Gang, ever.
She liked crow, but as she watched him shift closer to his sister, and wrap his tail around her, Reaper knew she had no hope in what the clans called Soulclan to get him on her side unless she somehow convinced him he was only being used in Echo's unfortunate battle for power. What Echo didn't know was that she hadn't a hope in hell of winning over Reaper. Echo may be skilled in murder, but she was no open combat cat, and Reaper was extra skilled in all areas of combat from her old days of daily training under the "skills camps" she had been forced into. That's why, when it came to skills, Reaper lacked in communicative, but strongly made up for it in combat.
The leader opened her maw once more to respond to the snarky shecat, but was cut off by Dune, this time, however, the leader was relieved and thankful the older tom cut her off, otherwise she would have probably sent Echo packing immediately. That or killed her.
"We will get to the news as quickly as we can Echo, I'm sure you can find patience. I'm sure the prey can wait on your deadly claws soon."
Reaper stifled a bout of laughter at that comment, smiling gently at the larger tom before clearing her throat again to quiet the room. However, just as she was about to begin, another cat bundled through the doorway, a new Queen who had just joined the 2* ranks, Spirit.
"Sorry that i'm late! What's going on?"
The queen panted, settling down with the other members to make a crowded Table. It pleased Reaper to have so many consultants around her, but the interruptions were getting old. With a quick lash of her stumpy tail, Reaper's voice rippled out over the members seated around her, her voice filled with strained patience.
"The young cat that came to get all of you has recently informed me of a potential invasion of humans. Now, while we can deal with them, another inside threat that was mentioned earlier to all those whom I wanted to hear it, and no one else,"
She paused, letting her emphasis sink in for a moment, while she made meaningful eye-contact with Crow and Dune, before continuing.
"Is also there, which would end up splitting the gang unless one is taken care of quickly. I gathered all of you here today to hear your opinions on the matter, and what you feel would be necessary to do first. I am aware that some of you are new, but fresh opinions are just as valuable as seasoned ones in some cases, so I'd like to hear everyone."
The she-leader quieted herself after her statement, so that she might hear any opinions thrown at her clearly.สษจสษสสส
Firefly narrowed his eyes and bared his teeth at Echo, who was staring greedily at Jigsaw. Jiggy was like a sister to him, and he wasn't about to let the manipulating flea-brain shecat get to her just because she was the deputy's sister. Pah. He was the leader's brother, and he still didn't get any perks. At all.
He wrapped his tail around the young molted she-cat, drawing her confused form closer to his side. Firefly might be young, but he was far from stupid, as Echo seemed to think he was. He was bubbly on the outside to get cats to let their guards down around him, and it worked, for as irritated as Echo got when she was around him, she didn't try to hide nearly as much of malicious personality as she did with others.
"Sorry that i'm late! What's going on?"
The young tom whipped his head around, a smile back across his face as he regarded the pretty new queen who had entered the room. Firefly opened his mouth to respond, but unfortunately Reaper started speaking from his side first.
"The young cat that came to get all of you has recently informed me of a potential invasion of humans. Now, while we can deal with them, another inside threat that was mentioned earlier to all those whom I wanted to hear it, and no one else,"
This statement made Firefly frown. He and Jigsaw had entered after Echo and the rest, so he was absent when this mystery information was disclosed. However, before he could lean closer to his sister and ask, she had finished her pause and was moving on.
'I'll ask her later'
Firefly thought with a shrug, before refocusing on Reaper's speech.
Based on the given information, and the stress on her previous words, Firefly could tell that Reaper was leaning closer to the underlying threat that overlapped the human invasion. He spoke this, and watched his sister give a discreet nod of approval.
"I think we 'otta take out the problem within our ranks, otherwise we won't have the power to deal with a threat as massive as the humans."
He spoke wisely, looking at Jigsaw for her opinion.สเนษ เธฃฮฑฯ
Jigsaw felt herself be pushed into Firefly's fluffy pelt, and alarm bells rang in her head. The big orange tomcat never, ever shoved her against his side unless he was trying to hide her from view. She poked her multicolored head out of his long fur and met the sly eyes of Echo, who was smiling "sweetly" at her.
Jigsaw's eyes hardened. She wouldn't fall for that again. However, she had a plan, to help Reaper, and she would pull out the second it got dangerous.
All she had to do... ws gain Echo's trust. A rough task, but a feat that would make Reaper proud, and ultimately help the gang that took her in. Jigsaw could tell by the icy air between the shecats that something was off, and Reaper never acted like that unless she felt like the cat on the receiving end would harm the gang, so something had to be off.
Jigsaw was in the middle of resting against Firefly's larger body, she was tired, and plotting her plan to deal with Echo, when Spirit entered the room.
"Sorry that i'm late! What's going on?"
Jigsaw usually ignored newcomers, and had ignored the conversation until then, but she felt Firefly shift against her, and take a breath to speak.
Fortunately, Reaper beat him to it.
"The young cat that came to get all of you has recently informed me of a potential invasion of humans. Now, while we can deal with them, another inside threat that was mentioned earlier to all those whom I wanted to hear it, and no one else,"
'Now that's unusual'
The young shecat thought as Firefly stiffened against her, giving Reaper a look. By the looks of things, the leader hadn't informed either of them of the information she supposedly disclosed to Dune and Crow, who were the two she made eye contact with while she paused. However, before Jigsaw could even complete another thought, Reaper had begun to speak again.
Jigsaw nodded, thinking for a moment before shifting her weight back onto her paws and preparing to speak. Firefly spoke first, though, and caused Jigsaw's reply to catch in her throat.
"I think we 'otta take out the problem within our ranks, otherwise we won't have the power to deal with a threat as massive as the humans."
The young shecat agreed with her foster brother, nodding her head in agreement, but deciding to let her dead reply stay that way. Dead in her thoughts.
For: Dune (@shadow), Echo, Crow (@shadow), and Spirit (Dawn) Mentioned: Nocat Notes: "Reaper Speaking"
"Firefly Speaking"
'Firefly thinking' "Jigsaw Speaking"
'Jigsaw thinking' "Others Speaking"
I like this plot. Can't wait to see how it develops.
